In today’s mobile society, family members may be scattered across the country. When a death occurs, it may be desired to have the remains transported to another city, state, or even another country. Hilgenfeld Mortuary specializes in both domestic and international shipping arrangements. Whether a loved one needs to be brought to Southern California for burial, or a family member has passed away locally and needs to be flown to another location, our staff can handle all of the necessary arrangements. Our services include coordinating with the receiving or shipping funeral home, and handling the flight arrangements with the airlines. In the event of an international shipment, the preparation of all necessary consulate documents will also be attended to by our staff.
