Paul Joseph Schiada passed away on February 17, 2026, at his home in Tustin, California. He was born on November 22, 1955 and lived most of his life in Orange County.

Paul graduated from St. John Bosco High School, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in math/music at Cal State Long Beach, then earned a Master of Arts in Education at Concordia University Irvine. Paul dedicated more than 45 years of his life to working as a music and math teacher in the Anaheim Union School District, a career that reflected his passion for teaching. Paul enjoyed traveling and recently took a cross-country train trip along the Canadian border, attended several Broadway musicals in New York City, and toured Italy and Sicily including the small village of Piana degli Albanesi where his grandparents where born. Paul enjoyed hiking, antique collecting and playing the piano at family get-togethers and community events.

Above all, Paul valued family. He is survived by his wonderful partner, Vince; and his siblings Michael, Patrick, Daniel, Mary, Cathy, Laurie and Thomas. He was preceded in death by his oldest sibling, Karen, and his parents Leonard and Kathleen Schiada.

Services for the funeral will take place on Tuesday, March 3rd at St. Cecilia Catholic Church at 1301 Sycamore Ave, Tustin CA, with viewing at 9:30 am and service starting at 10:00 am. Graveside service will take place at the Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery at 8301 Talbert Ave, Huntington Beach CA, immediately after the conclusion of the mass.
