For over 10 years, Becky Arieas has led Hilgenfeld Mortuary as the current owner, continuing the strong tradition established by her mother, Margie Hilgenfeld-Field, who served as the previous president. Their contributions are representative of the compassionate care and unwavering commitment that defines our services. This rich legacy reflects a dedication to helping families during their most challenging times with warmth, respect, and professionalism.

Hilgenfeld Mortuary has earned its reputation as a trusted resource for families, emphasizing the importance of honoring loved ones while providing support through the grieving process. Becky has worked to ensure that Hilgenfeld is meeting the evolving needs of the community while preserving the traditions that have guided the business for nearly 100 years.

Both Becky and Margie have made substantial contributions to Anaheim, fostering lasting relationships within the community and supporting various charitable initiatives. They have been leaders in local community organizations such as the YMCA, Altrusa, Anaheim Beautiful, and the Boys and Girls Club of Anaheim to name a few. Their commitment exemplifies the powerful impact of women in leadership roles and inspires future generations to pursue their ambitions with confidence.

Margie and Becky’s journey is a testament to breaking barriers in a male-dominated industry, highlighting the importance of representation and empowerment for women in all professions. In the field of mortuary sciences, they have provided years of leadership for the Cypress College School of Mortuary Sciences.
