David Kiliany, known to everyone as Dave, lived a long, full life centered on family, faith, and Pittsburgh sports.

Born and raised just outside of Pittsburgh in Scottdale, Pennsylvania. He often told stories of boyhood mischief growing up and getting in trouble with his brothers. In high school, Dave was an athlete playing basketball and running track. He was drafted into the Army and carried a proud sense of service and duty throughout his life.

Dave was a dedicated member of his Catholic Church which was his community. In his younger years, Dave was an active church volunteer and Knights of Columbus member serving twice as Grand Knight.

Dave will be remembered by many for his love of sports. He was a devoted fan of the Steelers and Pirates sticking with them through the good seasons and the bad while complaining about the teams because it's the Pittsburgh way.

Most of all, Dave was a family man and a kind friend to many. He was a loving husband to Nancy, a proud dad to Joe, Carol, and Chris, and a devoted grandfather to David. He also leaves behind his daughter-in-law Annette, son-in-law Jay, son-in-law Duke, his brother Art in Pennsylvania and several cousins, nephews and nieces throughout the east coast.

Dave will be remembered for his steady nature, quiet humor, and the way he made time for the people who mattered most.
