Anaheim, CaliforniaAlicia Martinez Acevedo passed away on June 26, 2025. She was 46 years old. She resided in the city of Garden Grove, California. However, she was born and raised in Anaheim, California. There she grew up with her five sisters and one brother. Along with her parents Arnold and Raquel Acevedo. She went to Valencia High School. After high school she worked various jobs in the retail industry. She also worked as a baker. Her real passion however was making and designing jewelry. Especially crystal bracelets and necklaces. Her jewelry expressed her creativity and love that she put in with every piece. Her passion grew into a business. She enjoyed selling her jewelry online and at farmers markets. She was also a devoted mother to her two daughters and shared her life with her long-time love Juan Torres. Alicia will always be remembered as a kind, loving and sweet soul. She loved to joke around and be silly. She was always fun to be around with. Alicia also had joy in cooking. We will forever miss her delicious Thanksgiving turkey along with her famous stuffing that no one can replicate. She loved the holidays. Even though she faced many health challenges for years it did not stop her from living her life to the fullest. She was the epitome of strength. Her love for her daughters and Juan gave her the will to keep pushing through it all. Until the Lord called her home. She will be forever missed! We love you “Ally Pie.” Rest in heaven sweet sister! Alicia is survived by her daughters Victoria and Kathrine Melendez. Partner, Juan Torres. Her sisters Christina Madrigal, Ruby Acevedo, Raquel Moreno, and her twin Marisela Acevedo. Her nieces Monica Moreno, Valerie Moreno, Ashley Moreno, Camila Madrigal, Priscilla Madrigal, and her nephews Adrian Moreno and Andrew Acevedo.
