Details to be Provided at the Service

Charles Marvin Ogan - we all knew him as Pete - was born in Ohio, Illinois on May 28, 1932 to Jerald and Verna Ogan. He went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. He was 93 years old.

The youngest of 4 boys, he was 13 years old when the family moved to Blunt, South Dakota. He graduated from Blunt High School and continued working and driving trucks (big trucks!)

In 1952, he was drafted into the army and fought in the Korean War. He was on the front lines at the 38th Parallel when the war ended in 1953.

After being discharged, he eventually landed in California and started his career at Kwikset Locksets. He took every opportunity to participate in advanced education that Kwikset offered, received promotions and became the production manager. In 1994, Pete retired after an amazing 39 year career at Kwikset.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and his son; Jeff Ogan.

Pete is survived by his loving wife, Carol; his 2 daughters, Kristie Ogan Falcioni (Greg), Shari Ogan Schaefer (Don), and his daughter-in-law Lisa Ogan. Nine grandchildren: Marisa Falcioni, Anthony Falcioni, Andrea Schaefer Lincoln, Peter Schaefer, Katherine Schaefer Ledesma, Danielle Schaefer, Justin (JP) Ogan, Ryan Ogan, Samantha Ogan Dotson. Nine great-grandchildren: Vini Harbibe, Sonny Harbibe, Nora Falcioni, Maeve Falcioni, Harrison Lincoln, Carter Lincoln, Pierce Lincoln, Leonardo Ledesma, Javier Ledesma.

Pete was a funny, loving man that took care of all of us. He made an amazing life with Carol. He always had a camera on hand to capture the special moments, had a story to tell and was so quick witted. We learned much from him and will ALWAYS miss him.

We will always love you - Pete, Dad, Grandpa, Papa, Great-grandpa, Great-papa
