    Our family respectfully announces the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.

    Mrs. Teresa Hoàng Thanh Hà was born on December 10, 1950, in Hanoi, Vietnam. She was called home by the Lord at 12:30 AM on March 24, 2026, in Orange County, California.

    It is with a heavy heart that we share this news with you today. We are devastated and deeply heartbroken. With our deepest sorrow, we announce that she passed away after a long battle with illness.

    A Memorial church service and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday May 23, 2026. We will send a detailed invitation at a later date as we take time to grieve and reflect.

    Sinh ngày 10 tháng 12 năm 1950 tại Hà Nội, Việt Nam. Đã được Chúa gọi về lúc 12 giờ 30 phút sáng ngày 24 tháng 03 năm 2026 tại Orange County, California, Hoa Kỳ.

    Với niềm tiếc thương sâu sắc nhất, chúng tôi xin thông báo rằng Ba đã qua đời sau một thời gian dài chống chọi với bệnh tật.

    Biography


    Mrs Teresa Hoàng Thanh Hà was born on December 10, 1950, in Hanoi, Vietnam. As the only daughter and the youngest among five brothers, she developed a strong and independent spirit.

    She excelled academically, in 1960 earned admission to Trưng Vương High School, one of the most prestigious schools in Vietnam. She had a deep passion for languages and pursued advanced studies in English and French. She graduated from high school in 1967 with highest distinctions when she was 17 years old.

    In 1967, she earned a prestigious USAID scholarship to study in the United States, where she graduated from the University of Maryland in 1972. After a brief internship with the World Bank, she returned to Vietnam and began her professional career with Esso, working in the field of information technology as a computer analyst.

    She married Lê Anh Vũ in April 1975 and soon after moved to the United States. She worked in Information Technology for Exxon and US Airways for 27 years. Even as a busy working mom, she was devoted and committed to her family always

    Following her retirement in 2001, she embraced a life of travel and connection, visiting loved ones and enjoying the world around her. Even in her final year, she continued to travel and spend meaningful time with family.

    She faced her illness with extraordinary courage, strength, and grace. Her optimism never wavered, and she lived her life fully and meaningfully.

    She is survived by her loving husband, Lê Anh Vũ; her daughters and sons in laws , Michelle Linh-Giang Lê and Nguyễn Quang Thi, Amanda Linh Uyên Lê and Noah Roper; her cherished grand daughters, Sydney Mỹ-Tiên Nguyễn, Charlotte Ánh-Tiên Nguyễn, and Jade Aura Lê Roper.

    She was a beautiful, loving, intelligent, and independent woman with remarkable courage. She had a phenomenal memory and treasured every story, every person, and every moment in her. She will be deeply missed by her extended family and many friends around the world.



    Bà Teresa Hoàng Thanh Hà sinh ngày 10 tháng 12 năm 1950 tại Hà Nội. Là con gái duy nhất và út trong gia đình có năm anh em trai, bà sớm hình thành tính cách mạnh mẽ và độc lập.

    Bà học giỏi, năm 1960 thi đậu vào trường Trung Học Trưng Vương, một trong những trường danh tiếng dành cho nữ sinh. Bà có niềm đam mê với ngoại ngữ, đặc biệt là tiếng Anh và tiếng Pháp. Tốt nghiệp trung học năm 1967 với hạng cao nhất năm bà 17 tuổi.

    Cùng năm 1967, bà nhận học bổng danh giá USAID sang Hoa Kỳ du học và tốt nghiệp Đại học Maryland năm 1972. Sau một thời gian thực tập tại Ngân Hàng Thế Giới (Worldbank) tại Wash DC, bà trở về Vietnam làm việc cho Esso và hoạt động trong lĩnh vực công nghệ thông tin với vai trò chuyên viên phân tích hệ thống.

    Bà kết hôn với ông Lê Anh Vũ vào tháng 4 năm 1975 và sau đó định cư tại Hoa Kỳ, nơi bà xây dựng lại sự nghiệp với Exxon và hãng hàng không USAirways trong 27 năm đồng thời chăm lo cho gia đình.

    Sau khi nghỉ hưu từ hãng USAirways năm 2001, bà tận hưởng cuộc sống với niềm đam mê du lịch và gắn bó với người thân. Ngay cả trong những năm tháng cuối đời, bà vẫn luôn cố gắng đi thăm gia đình và bạn bè.

    Bà đã đối diện với bệnh tật bằng nghị lực phi thường, sự kiên cường và tinh thần lạc quan.

    Bà để lại chồng là ông Lê Anh Vũ; hai người con gái và con rể là Michelle Lê và Nguyễn Quang Thi. Amanda Lê và Noah Roper. cùng ba cháu ngoại yêu quý là Sydney Mỹ-Tiên Nguyễn, Charlotte Ánh-Tiên Nguyễn, và Jade Aura Lê Roper.

    Bà là người phụ nữ xinh đẹp, yêu thương, thông minh, học thức và vô cùng mạnh mẽ. Bà luôn trân trọng từng kỷ niệm, từng con người trong cuộc đời mình.

    Vĩnh biệt bà. Chúng tôi luôn yêu thương và nhớ bà mãi mãi.
