Riverside National Cemetery

Riverside, CA 92518Anthony Castiglione, 78, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. His long fight with pain is now over, and he is at peace.
Born in New York, Anthony made California his home for the past 35 years. He served his country with honor in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Anthony dedicated his professional life to the oil industry, working as a scheduler for Mobil (Exxon Mobil) in both New York City and Southern California, where he built a respected career spanning many years.
Anthony was the devoted husband of Michele for almost 46 years. Their enduring love story was a testament to commitment and partnership. He was the beloved father of Thomas and cherished father-in-law to Stacy, whom he lovingly called his "favorite daughter-in-law." Anthony's greatest joy came from his role as grandfather to Sydney and Dylan, who brought immense light to his life. He would light up whenever they were around, and his love and pride in them knew no bounds.
A man of many passions, Anthony found joy in cooking, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycles, driving his Corvettes, and the occasional game of Bocce Balls. He was known for being kind, rational, stubborn, strong, silly, and fiercely protective of his family and friends. Anthony was a tremendous figure who shaped the lives of those around him, leaving an indelible mark on everyone he touched.
Anthony's legacy lives on through the love he shared, the values he instilled, and the memories he created. He will always be a part of everything his family does, a guiding presence that will never fade.
He is survived by his son Thomas and daughter-in-law Stacy; his cherished grandchildren Sydney and Dylan; his sisters-in-law Nancy and Julie; and countless friends whose lives he touched with his warmth, strength, and unwavering love.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to one of the charities below in Anthony's memory.
