Armando Anguiano

Armando Anguiano. 71 years old. A long time resident of Placentia was born March 11, 1952, and passed away June 6, 2023. Armando grew up in the La Jolla neighborhood where his Mother, Catalina, raised a family of 10 children after his father passed away when he was 9 years old. He often recalled the simpler times of Orange County where Orange Groves were more present than freeways and he could ride his bike down the riverbed to watch the construction of Anaheim Stadium. He attended Valencia High School in the 1960s and attended night school to obtain his AA Degree from Fullerton College in 1988. Over the years he worked various jobs with the City of Anaheim including the Anaheim Water Department and Anaheim Convention Center but what he enjoyed most was working at Disneyland for approximately 15 years until his retirement. He was a generous man with a soft voice, a soft smile and a big heart. Armando was preceded in death by his Mother, Catalina; Brother, Manuel; Sister, Virginia and his Daughter, Judy. Armando is survived by his Wife, Eva; his Son, Alfredo; Brothers Alfred and Robert; Sisters Mary, Olga, Margarita, Sally and Gloria; 3 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. A Memorial Service is scheduled at Hilgenfeld Mortuary on Wednesday, June 21 at 12 Noon.
