    It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Darin Patrick Mabin whodied unexpectedly on June 3, 2021 in Costa Mesa, California. He was 32 years old and left us all far too early.   Darin was born on February 21, 1989 in Renton, Washington. He is survived by his parents Patrick and Jeana Mabin, brother Dylan Mabin and bonus siblings Marissa andCorey Hamilton, grandmothers, Rosalie Avolioand Marijean Heutmaker and grandfather, Keith Mabin.He is also survived by many loving uncles, aunts and cousins from alarge extended family including the Mabins, Avolios, Heutmakers and Days. He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Michael Heutmaker and aunt, Michelle Hamilton.   Darin loved music, guitar, art, playing video games, watching movies,riding motorcycles, skateboardingand BMX biking. He also enjoyed swimming and rafting on the Cedar River with the Haslam and Paulsen families. He had a legendary sweet tooth with his favorites being any form of ReesesPeanutbuttertreats, pink cookies, sour gummy worms and brownie bites.  He had an outrageous sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. Most of all Darin treasuredtime with family and friends.   He excelled in school and was delighted to be part ofthe first science/tech program when he attended Briarwood Elementary. He was also a very gifted wrestler at Maywood Middle School due to his tenacious attitude and freakish strength. Darin graduated from Liberty High School in 2007.Renton, Washington was home until March of 2020 when he relocated to southern California.   Darin’s occupations included, diesel mechanic, communications wiring installations, and delivery driver. He was also an apprentice on his way to becoming a journeyman glazier, following in his father’s footsteps as well as many of his other relatives.   He had a generous heart and was always willing to help anybody in need whether complete strangers, friends, or family. Darin will be deeply missed by all who knew him as he touched many hearts in his short life.
