Dorothy “Dottie” Yvonne Hart

Dorothy Yvonne Hart was born January 16, 1926, in Jennings, Kansas and passed away on March 22, 2024, in Orange, California at the age of 98. She is survived by her daughters Bonnie Balloch, Karen bell and Linda Jorgenson, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, and one sister, Lois McGill. Dottie married her husband, Dale Hart on November 5, 1949, in Lincoln, Nebraska. The couple were married 56 years until his death. The family moved to California in 1952. Dottie enjoyed playing cards, working puzzles, going to the casino to play the slot machines, dancing, and spending time with her family. In 1968, she joined the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary and held many offices including President. She was a member of the Eagles for over 50 years! She had the great honor of being inducted into the State of California Auxiliary Hall of Fame. Dottie also volunteered at her church, Crystal Cathedral for many years. She was a greeter on Sunday and a tour guide during the week. Her family and friends feel so lucky that we were able to sped time with Mom, holding her hand, and telling her how much she was loved! She was predeceased by parents: William and Lucye Price, husband, Dale, sister, leona Boyer, brother, Glen Price, and son-in-law, Rick Jorgenson.
