    With great sadness, we announce the passing of Joyce Leitulagi Fenger at the Crystal Care Home, Anaheim, CA on Thursday, June 23, 2022. Viewing/Funeral Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 440 N Loara St, Anaheim, CA, on July 16, 2022 (Viewing: 9:30AM in Relief Society Room; Funeral Services:  11:00AM in Chapel). Born on July 3, 1944 in Western American Samoa, Joyce received a Scholarship to BYU Hawaii and attended subsequent Universities were she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Development. She worked diligently in both training and mentoring many of young girls and boys for greater educational pursuits. Her belated parents – Ponaivaoliainaiala Mu Tagaloa, Esesta Liufau, and Step-Mother- Tauanave Tanielu. Leitulagi Mu Tagaloa was married in Hilo, Hawaii to Peter Walker Fenger on May 24, 1967. She is survived by 4 Children; Michael Alan Fenger, Theresa Esther Childers (Twins); Leilani Vivian Richardson, and David Lee Fenger; and 9 Grandchildren – Alexis Fenger, Lauren Fenger, Chelsea Childers, Cody Childers, Cahndler Richardson, Connor Richardson, David Lee Fenger Jr., Brandon Fenger and Jacob Fenger. Also, 10 siblings – Leitu Tagaloa (D), Tiufeai Tagaloa, Automata Tagaloa (D), Eti Pona Tagaloa (D), Laula’au Sapp (D), Lee Tagaloa, Fuifuivine Tagaloa, Faamanuiaga Tagaloa (D), Faaolataga Tagaloa (D), and Siisii Tagaloa (Sam). A special thanks to her wonderful caregivers at the Crystal Care Home, Anaheim, CA; Divina & Gustavo Sablas. Memories and condolences may be shared to the Hilgenfeld Mortuary, 120 E. Broadway, Anaheim, CA 92805.   Joyce Leitulagi Fenger will be buried at El Toro Memorial Park, 25751 Trabuco Rd, Lake Forest, CA 92630 (949) 951-9102.
