    Kristopher L. Post, 49, of Wiesbaden, Germany, passed away on July 22, 2023.

    Kris was born on January 20, 1974 to Larry and Angie Post in Garden Grove, CA. Kris lived his young life in Anaheim, CA with his two sisters Angela and Debi. After Kris graduated from Loara High School in 1992, he studied at CSUSD.

    After the attack on 9/11 Kris joined the Army and followed in his dad’s footsteps as a Chief Warrant Officer 3. Kris lived in Germany and Hawaii.

    While stationed in Hawaii he met the love of his life, Tama, who he married in 2012. His first son, Kaimana, was born in Hawaii in 2013. He then was stationed in Korea, where his second son, Koa, was born in 2015. He was then stationed in North Carolina, where he started attending college at University of Maryland Global Campus where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English. He was in the Master’s program at University of Maryland Global Campus completing his degree in MS Environmental Management. He was then stationed in Stuttgart, Germany and then Wiesbaden, Germany. Kris was a Geospatial Imagery Intelligence Warrant Officer with 19 years in.

    Kris enjoyed spending time with his family. Specifically, watching his boys play fussball (soccer) for a German youth league. He liked to fish, hunt, surf, and travel all over Europe. He was a two-stripe white belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and loved kettlebells and sauna.

    Kris will be remembered for his contagious laugh, larger than life presence, and the love for his family. Being a husband to Tama and father to Kaimana and Koa was his dream come true. Kris lived life to its fullest. He was deeply loved.

    Kris is survived by his wife Tama and two sons Kaimana and Koa; his mother Angie Post. Forever remembered by his sisters Angela Castro and her husband Michael Castro and her son Ryan Castro, Debi Richkas and her husband Don Richkas. He is preceded in death by his father Larry Post.
