Obituary
Lillian Dorothea Melanson (MacCormack) mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026 at the age of 98.

Lillian was born in Canada and was one of 16 children. She married the love of her life, Joseph, in 1948 and saw his passing in 2021. They were married 72 years and had four children, Roger, Eileen, Linda and Terry.

In 1963, Lillian and Joseph decided to move their young family from Canada to California, first living in a home in Anaheim, CA and eventually settling in Buena Park in 1970, where they lived the rest of their lives.

Lillian’s love and devotion to her family was unparalleled. She also volunteered in many ways through church and community activities and was always ready to lend a hand to any who needed her. She leaves a lasting legacy to her children and grandchildren of service to others.

She will be greatly missed.
