    Nancy Snyder, 83, of Anaheim, CA passed away on February 27, 2021, at Park Vista Health Center, Fullerton, CA following two months of hospitalization due to multiple chronic health conditions. Nancy was born July 10, 1937, in Calumet County, WI, the daughter of Robert and Lura Funke of New Holstein, WI. On August 17, 1957, she married Edward Snyder. Following the adoption of their two daughters, Nancy and Ed left their Cedarburg, WI home to start their new life together in California. Nancy and Ed enjoyed 63 wonderful years together. While raising her children, Nancy spent numerous hours as a church, school and community volunteer. Nancy subsequently turned her school volunteer work into a 23-year career with the Anaheim Union High School District as both a Library Media Technician and a Health Services Technician.After retiring in 2004, Nancy enjoyed reading, cooking, traveling, and watching her Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers. Nancy was a loving wife, devoted mother and loyal friend. Her gift of gab and infectious smile were gifts to all who knew her. Nancy is survived by her husband, Edward; daughters Lisa Eck (Anaheim, CA) and Amy Foote (Akron, OH);son-in-law Charles Eck; and sister-in-law Sister Lucille Snyder, O.S.B. (Bakerstown, PA). Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; brother Thomas Funke (Port Washington, WI); andinfant son Thomas Snyder. Out of respect for everyone’s health and safety, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.Sympathy cards can be sent to the Snyder Family c/o Lisa Eck, 1546 W.
