    Racquel May A. Bermudez entered eternal rest on Friday, February 16, 2024 surrounded by loved ones at her home in Anaheim, CA.

    She was born on May 19, 1983 in Quezon City, Philippines to Isabel M. Amiscaray and Romeo B. Amiscaray.

    May graduated from high school at St. James College of Parañaque and received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Psychology from St. Paul University Manila in 2004. She continued on to De La Salle University where she was pursuing her Master’s Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology while also earning her teaching credentials.

    May not only had a passion for learning but also for her career. She spent the last 20 years excelling in Human Resources. She found purpose in her work and always applied 100% of herself into it.

    May was an amazing person who loved immensely. She enjoyed traveling the world and taking pictures of all the places she has been. She loved the beach and the sound of the ocean. She was a fashion connoisseur, always carefully curating her wardrobe. Above all, she treasured spending time with family and friends and orchestrated many gatherings to bring people together.

    May met the love of her life, Ryan Jayson Bermudez, in grade school while attending St. James College of Parañaque. The two lost contact after Ryan immigrated to the US and reunited once again after many years. They started dating on February 13, 2007 and were married on July 17, 2017 in Santa Ana. The couple moved to Anaheim in May 2019 and built precious memories in their first home together.

    She will always be remembered for her unwavering strength, charisma, kindheartedness, and overall glowing personality. Her family and friends can attest to the everlasting impact she has had on all of their lives.

    May is survived by her husband, Ryan Bermudez, her mother, Isabel Amiscaray, her father, Romeo Amiscaray, her sister, Grace Amiscaray, her niece, Khyzl Amiscaray, and many more family members and friends who loved and admired her.

    The family requests all in attendance to wear white - In memory of Racquel.
