Her parents were Eugene Howell Adams and Sallie Maude Paschall. She was the youngest of 5 children. Her siblings were Ailene (Charles) Ward, Samuel (Marybelle), Frances (Ernest) Herner, and Alva (Dorothy). On 28 December 1940 she married Wayne Allen Held (6 October 1919 - 9 May 1974) in Yuma, AZ and then on 22 May 1981 married Lowell Thomas Gamble (4 June 1918 - 7 August 1982). She and Wayne had three children Raymond Gary Held (Lynda) (Haysville, KS), Rochelle Ann (James) Biafore (Orange, CA) and Charlene Mae (Kent) Davis (Fountain Valley, CA). She was predeceased by her parents, siblings and both husbands. She is survived by her children, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
