    Jonathan Robert Calderon, aged 28, was the innocent victim in a two-vehicle collision and tragically passed away on July 31, 2022, in Boise, Idaho. Jonathan was born December 30, 1993, in Anaheim, to parents Sandra and Miguel Calderon. Jonathan was loved by all and will be missed but not forgotten. He was kind and respectful to everyone and made friends everywhere he went.

    Jonathan graduated from Loara High School where he was a member of the Band Family. He later earned a degree from Cypress College in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Jonathan’s career in Orange County included working at Angel Stadium, Disneyland, Chapman University, The Habit and Great Wolf Lodge. He moved to Idaho to be closer to his grandparents and was recently promoted to restaurant manager of the Trillium restaurant at the Grove Hotel, downtown Boise.

    Jonathan loved music and dancing, had started riding a bicycle on Boise’s river trails and was looking forward to snowboarding when winter came. Jonathan was a world traveler, visiting Venezuela, Moscow, Paris, England, and Mexico. He attended multiple music festivals with friends and was an avid line dancer.

    Jonathan is survived by his parents Sandra Calderon, Miguel Calderon and Sandra Gomez, his brothers Glenn Calderon and Wyatt Calderon, his grandparents, Gordon Vining, Dorothy Vining, Penny Neely and Steve Neely and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and friends.

    All are invited to Hilgenfeld Mortuary for the viewing on August 23, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and to the funeral service on August 24 at 10:00 am, at Hilgenfeld Mortuary. Interment at Westminster Memorial Park.
